Why divorce should be easy!

Couples come together for a common purpose. They bear children and start parenting them. But at times, they may grow apart and not want to remain a couple. They may want to separate. But society and law often prevents this separation. Because they feel that children might get affected due to the separation. Hence, law has made divorce difficult and asks couples the reason for the separation. They need to show some fault in the partner in order to get legal separation. But this only opens another Pandora's box in which false accusations and blame game begins. This is unhealthy and stressful not only for the couple but also for their children. Divorce of their parents does affect children. It can lead to stress and academic struggles in them. They might suffer severe mental stress and demonstrate behaviour changes in them. Global peace index 2020!

Global peacefulness has been showing a decline in the last decade. This is not a good sign. There are intercountry and intercountry conflicts and frictions. And if this continues, it would have a bad impact on world living, economy, and people's well-being.

Global peace index chart reveals that global peace is at risk due to various race and religious conflicts. For calculating peace index of a nation, 23 quantitative and qualitative indicators are taken and each is weighted on a scale of 1-5. The lower the score of GPI, the more peaceful is the country. 

Why is vaccination rate low in USA? 

In 2020, countries have shown an average of 0.34 percentage decline in GPI scores. The covid crisis added to the already prevailing regional tensions in the world.

Iceland tops the list with a score of 1.078. It is the most peaceful country and holds this first position since 2008. New Zealand, Austria, Portugal, and Denmark are not far behind Iceland. The least peaceful is Afghanistan with a GPI score of 3.644. Syria, Iraq, South Sudan and Yemen are just a small fraction above Afghanistan. Bhutan and Nepal are also peaceful nations and are in the top 100 peaceful country list. UK stands at number 42 and France is 66th in the list. Bangladesh is on 97 position. China is on 104. USA is on position no. 121 and Russia on 154. But both countries have improved on their scores compared to old scores. India is on number 139 and Pakistan on 152. India's GPI score was 2.477 in 2008 and it has fallen to 2.628.

Wuhan Institute of Virology scientists and bite from Covid infected bat!

 Covid-19 pandemic started in Wuhan in China. This was in December 2019. But China continues to state that though the first cases of Covid-19 were detected in Wuhan, it never originated there. But the world wants to know the true answer of origin of the virus and hence the pandemic that brought the world to a standstill. WHO is investigating this matter.  China and its denial of origin of coronavirus   China has been persistent in its denial of Covid-19 in Wuhan. It stresses that though the first cases were detected there, they never originated there.
