Ways of eating idlis

Image
During my trip down South, I had the opportunity to watch common people enjoy traditional southern foods. Idlis are one such popular food items that can be consumed anytime of the day. They can be had during breakfast, lunch, or dinner or anytime in between.  Idlis are traditionally South Indian delicacies. They are rice and lentil cakes that are steamed. They are usually salty but in Mauritius, you will find sweet varities as well in small shops and restaurants there.  Idlis are healthy food items and are a good source of carbohydrates, proteins, and healthy fats. They have minerals and vitamins and have the goodness of fermented foods too. They are served with sambhar (curry made of dal) and chutney (coconut, tomato or the like). Some also savour them with yoghurt, ghee (clarified butter) or spice mix (podi).  Idli pizza A modern twist to idli dish has been as idli masala (idlis usually small-sized covered with spices), idli fry (idlis usually small-sized that are...

"Money, Money"-WHO showing a bias towards covid-19 vaccines completing ignoring role of natural immunity in infection protection!!!

WHO and it's biased role Increasingly people are questioning the biased role of WHO in this current coronavirus pandemic. It is talking about and promoting covid-19 vaccine but is totally ignoring and not talking about natural immunity in infection protection. On one hand, WHO is stating that both natural infection and vaccines provide equal protection from covid-19 virus and on the other hand, it is aggressively advocating immunization for the masses. It is deliberately not giving any importance to natural infection and it's vital role in preventing second infection from the virus. This medical organization seems to be totally relying on only one step to control the pandemic, namely vaccination. Why? Natural infection and antibodies Scientific studies so far have clearly shown that natural antibodies provide the best and longer-lasting protection as compared to any of the currently available vaccines against covid-19. Despite all these peer-reviewed data and publications, WH...

The people in the age group of 18 to 24 years abstain more than their predecessors. Why is this so? The new study on sex life and people LoveHoney in collaboration with Kinsey Institute did the research on sex during and after the covid pandemic. Lovehoney’s scientific advisor, Dr. Justin Lehmiller states: “ The study focused on sex and relationships during and after the pandemic, revealing the 18-24 demo to be the least sexually active of all age groups,” 49% of youth in the age group of 18-24 years said that sex during first date is a dealbreaker.
