Nepali vs Indian panipuri: The differences

Everyone enjoys Pani Puri; the rich, the poor, the elderly, the aged, young people, and children irrespective of caste, religion or creed. Even overseas it is relished.  I will not go into the history of it. It spoils the whole fun of the delicious food dish.  But having tasted Pani Puri in several places, both national and international, I have found that they are made to cater to local taste buds. Hence, they are different everywhere in the world.  Let's talk about India and Nepal and the differences in Pani Puri at both places.  1. Puri - The Puris in India are made of maida, atta or suji. You have the option. But in Nepal, it is only maida Puris. I have yet not seen anywhere there suji Puris.  Nepali Pani Puri  2. Voluntary childlessness is on the rise in the world! What are the reasons for it?

 The decision of couples to have no children by choice seems tough but is increasing in the modern world. Though society looks down at such couples, the availability of effective and safe contraception and old age support from non-family agencies has made things a bit easier for such decisions to be made. 

Reasons for voluntary childlessness

1. Personal reasons such as not wanting responsibilities of a child. 

2. The emphasis on career rather than reproduction

3. The lack of desire to forward one's family genes or line due to child abuse. 

4. Anguish against existence in general.

5. Non-readiness to give up one's freetime and social time for children rearing

6. Happier to help others raise kids

7. Preferring a pet over a child

8. Not wanting to give up personal space and sharing it with a child. 

9. Not happy with child-rearing things such as cleaning up mess, disturbing one's sleep etc.

10. Not particularly fond of children behavior.

11. In some situations, one partner already has child/ren from a previous relationship and the other partner is happy with it. 

12. Some couples fear straining of their relationship on appearance of a child. 

13. Availability of birth control means and old age support. 

14. Worried about effect of pregnancy and breastfeeding on body of mother. 

15. Not wanting to have headache of the perfectionist attitude of others towards child-rearing practices.

17. One partner's health is not good. 

18. Already enough problems in life to reproduce.

19. Genetic reasons with risk of passing the bad genes to the offspring.

20. Lack of the parental instinct.

21. Lack of interest in sexual activity.

22. Other fears of reproduction and child that includes schooling, fees, financial hurdles etc. 

23. Uncertainty of one's parental skills.

24. Feeling that one is too young or too old for bearing a child. 

25. Economical reasons.

26. Women education and liberation has changed attitudes towards child bearing and rearing.

27. Good oldage care of a country

28. Invest time in socially useful activities. 

29. Belief that one can contribute more to society by not having kids of their own. 

30. The belief that one is selfish by reproducing kids.

31. Belief that world iz deteriorating and best to not have children.

32. Non-belief that kids means success.

33. Happy with the current social circle.

34. Belief in adoption rather than on having kids.

35. Some religious belief to go without kids.

36. Happy in a profession that involves children.

There may be a fraction of people in this category who claim to be voluntarily childless but may actually happen to be infertile and projecting to the world that they are childless by choice. It is difficult to differentiate these from the true voluntarily childless couples, unless one accesses their gynecology and medical reports.
