New non-fried microwaved healthy delicious Pani Puri fun

Pani Puri is an Indian delicacy and street food. People of all ages relish it.  It consists of a stuffed wheat puri (puffed food) with spicy and tangy water. The stuffing is of soaked and boiled and cooked white peas (ragda) and mashed potatoes.  But the puri made of wheat flour is fried in oil to puff it. This implies more oils and fats going into our gut and body. Health conscious individuals and obese individuals might therefore be concerned about eating too much of Pani Puri. Purchase Pani Puri discs available in market in supermarkets and stores. They come in packets made by different companies. The WHO-led team visits Wuhan wet market for investigation of the origin of coronavirus!

The origin of coronavirus is being investigated by a WHO-led team. Experts visited the Huanan market on Sunday 31 January 2021 as part of their investigation to get the truth about how coronavirus pandemic started. The market was heavily barricaded for the visit.

The official visit of Huanan market in Wuhan

Huanan market in Wuhan is considered the start point of the coronavirus pandemic that engulfed the world. It is a wholesale seafood wet market situated in China in Wuhan. WHO-led experts on an investigation trial visited this market amidst tight security. There was a high blue fence placed around the market. Additional barricades were outside this fence. The experts arrived and stayed for an hour. Later, they left in a convoy. They did not give any press conference to the gathered journalists.

Experts and details of their China visit

The experts arrived in China around 2 weeks back and were in self-isolation before they commenced their investigation. They have done trips of markets, hospitals, and an exhibition that revealed how Wuhan successfully controlled the viral spread with 76 days of lockdown. The population of Wuhan is around 11 million. One of the team members Peter Daszak tweeted:

"Very important site visits today - a wholesale market first & Huanan Seafood Market just now. Very informative & critical for our joint teams to understand the epidemiology of COVID as it started to spread at the end of 2019,"

But China has restricted the movement and meeting of the team members. They cannot visit or talk to community members due to health reasons.

The trip itinerary

There has been no release of any trip itinerary. But the members would be there for 2 weeks. Also journalists have not been allowed near the team. The market is still closed since the start of 2020. It was originally a bustling place selling vegetables, meat, and seafood. But now it is a thing of the past. It stands as a memory of the pandemic and an epicenter of it. 4 cases of mysterious pneumonia were linked to this market and the government shut it on 31 December 2019. By end of January 2020, lockdown began in Wuhan.

The verbal fight between China and the USA over coronavirus origin and access concerns delayed the probe. Now that it has started, the world is eagerly waiting for the results!!!
